4 steps to recover data saved on your iCloud

We store data in iCloud as backup. In case your data gets lost or damaged in your computer, you can still get those data back from the iCloud. Here are the steps to recover data that you saved on your iCloud.

1. Log into iCloud

First, open your iSkysoft iPhone Data Recovery. After it is loaded, select the option ‘Recover from iCloud Backup File’ which is situated on the left-side menu. Then, enter your iCloud ID and password to log in.

2. Download the required iCloud backup

Once you have logged in, you will see a list of all your backup files arranged in order of date. Scroll down the list and select the ones you want to access. Right click on the green ‘Download’ button, which is on the ‘State’ column on the right hand side of the screen. As the files are quite large, it may take some time to download.

3. Extract your iCloud backup

After the download is complete, you have to extract the backup in order to access your files. Click on the ‘Scan Downloaded’ button under the ‘State’ column.

4. Preview and retrieve data

Once your backup file has been scanned, you can preview your data in the backup file. The data is shown as a list on the left hand side of the list. Scroll down the list and select the data that you want to recover. Then save these data to your Mac by clicking the ‘Recover’ button which is on the bottom right hand side of the screen. Your files will be downloaded!

So, you can see that the process of recovering data from your iCloud is very simple. It will only take a few minutes. But, make sure that you complete each step carefully before moving forward.
