
North Carolina exhibited crops of almost endless varieties. This State also made a commanding display of gold, copper and iron and of marbles and building stone, in the Palace of Mines and Metallurgy. In precious stones her exhibit covered a wide range. It embraced diamonds, garnets, beryls, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and rare quality gems.
