Vermont State Building

The Old Constitution House, that stands in Windsor, was reproduced for the State building of Vermont. It covered an area of 50 by 120 feet and cost $5,000. The original building was the house where the Constitution of Vermont was drawn up and signed. The main room was furnished in antique style and used for the reception of guests. At the rear was a restaurant conducted similar to the old-fashioned dining room. It was near the Mining gulch and south of the Michigan building.
